I've got a vintage ocean liner print of the ship 'grace line' that has been a favorite of mine. Not because I'm the nautical type, but because of the spirit of venture it represents.

I wanted to create a similar sense of longing and unknown destinations in this piece--and I honestly don't know whether it conveys any of that or I merely project those feelings when I look at it. As usual, my sense of excitement and self-loathing have struggled to a 50/50 draw--which signals that I'm done with the piece for now. I'll probably pull it out in a few months to make final tweaks if any.
